ShafraZ the sleek and stylish musical entertainer
ShafraZ always dreamt of being a musician since he was a child. When ever he was alone at home or school there was one common thing haunting in his mind: being a singer one day. Finally he made his dream come true when the tunes of his first song stuck in his mind. Since then he has been working hard to make his dream a reality.
ShafraZ has nourished his knowledge of music since his childhood. The exposure to both western and eastern music has helped him to widen his music sense steadily. Currently he works at a private financial institution and yet finds ample time to manifest his passion. ShafraZ is much interested in hip hop and classical music and plans to combine both in his creations and plans to direct the local music industry to the International level.
When his debut music track ‘Ingikarana’ was officially released in 2007 nobody ever imagined that it would become such a big hit across the Island. The track almost topped in all the radio and television chart shows in the island and still enchanting its beats throughout the country. Undoubtedly the fresh tunes of the hit single have given the Sri Lankan music industry a clue of a birth of a yet another emerging young talent.
ShafraZ also earned rave review here and abroad for the eye catching visuals of his first single. Inevitably the video was up to the international standard where the fans were glued to TV screens to have a glimpse of it. ShafraZ has currently completed 10 tracks for his Album and released on March 09th 2009.
He also plans to explore on untouched areas in new musical trends and looking forward to experiment them in his musical craft. ShafraZ always attempts to grant his fans a distinctive yet unblemished experience.
