Isuru Jayarathne is the son of famous musical super stars T.M & Manel Jayarathne. Isuru started his musical journey at a very early age. He was the singer of the band “ Rhythm of maroons” at his school Ananda College Colombo. He played badminton at school & was a good swimmer.  He was also an active member of the College Radio Club & cadet team.
Isuru did higher studies at the “India Kala Sangeeth” University-Madya Pradesh-India & won the gold medal for the 'best student' for the year 2002.

He joined SLBC in 1998.

• He did his first visual for the song “Chandramandalen” which was written by his mother Manel Jayarathne.
• He sang the welcome song for the “SAARC” with 30 other artists.
• Recently he released his first album “Sonduru Manali”.
