Ajith Perera is a popular artiste, whose birthday falls on the 13th of May. Born in 1970, Ajith now lives in Kandana. He studied at St. Johns Baptist College, Kandana.

He is talented for drawing as well as singing and is also a very good guitarists. During his school days when he was 14 years of his age, he  started “Cherantas” Music Band.
“Prathama Haduwa” was the first album presented by Ajith Perera. Currently he is doing a new album including two popular songs named “Thawath Adarei” “Heena Piurogena” & “ Mata Adere Karanaa Aya”.
Ajith is also creating melodies for songs for apprentices.
