Chaminda started his journey in music, way back in 1988 as a Guitarist and was attached to the “Ever Shine Music Band”.   After 2 years, in 1990 he joined the Music Band of Hotel Habarana Lodge as a Singer.  Since 1990 Chaminda was with the ‘7-Up’ Music Band and subsequently joined with ‘Flash Back’, ‘Super Marians’ and ‘Seeduwa Sakura’ Music Bands.  Since 2005 Chaminda has been attached to the ‘Purple Range’ Music Band as a Singer as well as an announcer.
He has sung about 15 songs and there are another four songs to be released.  His maiden album will be released within this year.  The ‘Purple Range’ Band will be releasing a new album very soon.
Chaminda has been in the musical field for about 22 years and has participated in about 30,000 Musical Shows. He has also toured about 11 countries for Musical shows.
