Helan started his musical journey at an early age.

He was the singer of the band “Super sonic".

Year 1992 to 1994 “Kaudo mata adare’’ and “Maa  tharaha nethe”, Kiwwata wihilu katha punchi nage” songs became very popular on sri Lankan radio channels.
