Waruna Madushanka Peiris, was born on 26th October 1983. He is the eldest in his family, having two sisters.He started his musical career when he was just 14 years old as a keyboard player in his dad's band. Waruna Madushanka started his own band when he was studying for his O/L's but unfortunately he had to stop when doing A/L's. After that he started his career as a solo artist. He performed in hotels and at functions which were in Colombo. Waruna Madushanka can play all types of instruments. He played the guitar at a Rock Band when he was very young and at 18 years of age he played the bass guitar.
Waruna Madushanka Peiris' first CD Album was titled Obai Mamai. He plans to do concerts titled - “Waruna Live in Concert” in all the main towns in Sri Lanka, in the near future.
"I have done one visual for my album 'Alawantha Hendewa' and plan to do 3 more visuals for the famous songs - Kinnara Nagare, Obai Mamai and Vil Sanda Diye" said Waruna Madushanka Peiris.
