salam-namaste-buzz Blue-eyed boy Ranbir Kapoor

The Kapoor blood in his veins is beginning to show its colour. As Ranbir Kapoor comes into his own with a well-nuanced performance in Wake Up Sid, his quintals of potential, screaming to be tapped, has caught the attention of India’s premier production house.
Ranbir seems to have become the new blue-eyed boy of Yashraj Films, the production house popular for its over-fondness for Shahrukh Khan and Rani Mukherjee. Now, as Bollywood’s young brigade cements its feet in the industry, it’s all but natural for the banner to move on from the 40-plus stars to the 20-plus young guns. And Ranbir, we all know, leads the pack.
The latest buzz in the industry is that Aditya Chopra is planning to direct another film, a breezy love story, and wants Ranbir to play the lead role.
The actor has already worked with the banner in two films - Bachna Ae Haseeno and the upcoming Rocket Singh - Salesman of the Year, directed by Shimit Amin of Chak De India fame.
A little birdie tells us that after Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Aditya has been raring to direct his next film, but wasn’t able to finalize a script for which he also got the actors of his choice. Now, he has penned a youthful love story for which he wants Ranbir Kapoor, and none else, to play the male lead.
Keeping with the Yashraj tradition, everything is being kept hush hush so far.

Meet nervous Aamir Khan

Completion of 3 Idiots has just occurred and the perfectionist Khan has already started worrying about the audiences’ reaction. The movie is due for Christmas release and nervous Aamir Khan confesses to his nerves in his blog.
“The last one week has been very busy with ‘3 Idiots’ work. The final song is done and now the cut is locked too. I think we have managed to make the film that we set out to.” Aamir is quoted as saying, “As you can well imagine the good old butterflies have begun to spread their wings once again and their feathery touch has started to tickle my insides. I'm tempted to try and snuff them out with smoke...but I won’t. I think this time I have quit for good.”
In fact, Aamir was also nervous when he walked the ramp for the first time at the recently held HDIL couture week for his good friend Salman Khan. “I was extremely nervous because I have never done it before. I am not used to doing all this. This is not my world,” he told the press. He was even nervous while rehearsing for the show and was thinking about how the audience would react.
Nevertheless, nervous or not nervous, Aamir knows how to wow his fans.

Blue 2 coming soon

The seats are still warm from last week’s release Blue but a sequel to the big budget film is already in the works. Tentatively titled Blue 2, get ready for a bigger, better and definitely more expensive production, which will go even further with it’s thrilling special effects.
Blue actor Sanjay Dutt told a tabloid that they will be starting with the sequel immediately. "It was a thrilling experience shooting for Blue in the Bahamas. Tony (director) is ready with the idea for Blue 2 and he has promised that there will be more sharks and action in the sequel," says Sanjay.
The actor went on to tell of the trials and tribulations over the shooting of the original. "For me, Blue was an extremely difficult film to shoot. The same goes for the director Anthony D'Souza. Hats off to the producer who believed in the film and invested so much money in it. I don't know about others but I had a tough time while shooting as I was scared when I saw 50 sharks around me."
Blue 2 is rumoured to begin shooting in Australia and will reportedly star one more key male actor other than Akshay Kumar, Sanjay and Zayed Khan.
Who do you think should complete the male quartet in Blue 2?
